HOW TO FIND US:
The Art House is on Bedford Place, very close to the city centre and Southampton Central Train Station. The easiest, cheapest and of course the greenest way to reach us is by public transport or pedal/foot power! We have railings outside where you are very welcome to lock your bicycle :)
On foot: from the City Art Gallery (estimated 5 mins walk)
From the front of the City Art Gallery, cross Commercial Road into West (Watts) Park. Walk straight (north) through the park. At the circular area by the Watts statue, bear right and pass the Cenotaph (War Memorial) on your right and some pretty railings on your left, leave the park and cross over at the traffic lights on Cumberland Place and onto Bedford Place, keeping on the left hand side. Walk straight, crossing Park Lane and Grosvenor Square on your left until you come to Henstead Road, the Art House is the large white building directly ahead of you. The entrance is on Henstead Road.
By bus:
'First' 5/5A/5E stops almost directly outside on Bedford Place, or get
off the bus in the city centre and follow the directions above. See

local bus companies.
BY Train:
From Southampton Central train station (estimated 7 – 10 minutes walk)
Leave the station on the North (Platform 1) side, walk out onto
Blechyden Terrace. Cross over into Wyndham Place, keep on the left hand side of the road
and walk straight ahead to the traffic lights.
Cross over Commercial Road and turn right, walk along Commercial Road for a few yards then turn left into Morris Road. Follow Morris Road up the hill until you get to Devonshire Road.
Turn left into Devonshire Road – take the first right into Henstead
Road, opposite the Central Baptist Church.
Walk along Henstead Road, keeping on the left hand side. The Art
House is at the end of the Road, on the corner with Bedford Place
(the entrance is on Henstead Road).
